During the year 2023 we have developed research at the prestigious Serralves Foundation in Porto, on the impact of art on people with mental health problems. It is a collaboration between the UVIC-UCC and the Poro Polytechnic, with my colleagues Dr. Raquel Simoes and the occupational therapist Isa Alves.
In December 2022 we developed a stay to choose the works of said foundation that we would include in the Art project for the well-being and social participation of people with mental health problems. In June 2023 we have already presented the results of the quantitative research, now we will present the global results in a publication. This initiative follows similar investigations already developed in programs together with prestigious institutions, such as the CCCB (Simó et al., 2017), Auditorio y Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya (2018), Thyssen Museum (2020-2022), as well as the Vic Culture and Well-being project, active since 2028.
